About Men's Nike Flight Lite 2010 High All Black

Lately, we haven't seen a lot of Nike Flight Lite 2010 High Black Shoes online, a hybrid of the Flight Lite High has released in several colorways. However, we have spotted an head-turning, custom pair of Air Flight Lite Highs that may leave some of you wishing they were a general release. While many may fiend for the uber-high top cut of the Flight Lites, overlooking the history of this shoe would be nothing short of a tragedy.

About Nike Flight Lite

In the late 1980s, while Michael Jordan was quickly becoming the greatest thing to ever happen to basketball and subsequently the shoes that accompanied the game, Nike’s Flight line was slowly carving its way into the basketball shoe history books as well. Players like Ron Harper and Gerald Wilkins became the face of the Nike Flight Series. One of the most memorable from that line returned in Retro form in 2008. The Nike Flight Lite High originated in 1991 and was part of some memorable advertisements featuring the aforementioned Wilkins balancing the shoe on his index finger in a somewhat magical way that has probably been in large part the reason the shoe remains a classic.

For 2010, has reinvented the style with full-length Air and updated tread pattern. Some of the memorable styling cues from the original are applied, including the exaggerated tongue complete with the iconic “F” Flight logo. The overall shape is more closely tied to the Hyperdunk 2010 than that of the original version, but the cushion Achilles support and overlay on the ankle area have just enough old school to remind some of us of the Flight Series of old.

Nike looks to introduce the Nike Air Flight Lite 2010 this holiday season that boasts some similar sensibilities with a bit more style and a lot more technology including a light weight upper and full length air sole. Nike Basketball may have a win with this one and there are two initial colorways to pick from including black and grey/infrared.

Since the beginning of this current year, Nike has been bringing out all-new models such as the Hyperfuse and at the same time it takes back classic silhouettes into revamped and retroed mode. Among these classics is the Nike Flight Lite that is recently treated with some modifying elements to make it trendy and up-to-date.

Now we no longer see the Flight Lite but its re-born version with the name Flight Light 2010 is taking a notch and is expected to be one of the popular kicks in the sneaker world today and in the future. This shoe’s feature includes the originally enlarged tongue from the Flight Lite that bears the Flight label and aggressive “F” logo. An improved lightweight characteristic is a prominent attribute of this model along with the revised sole that integrates a full length Max Air unit. The perforations on the toe, midpanel, and collar all contribute a better ventilation system whereas the improved sole unit promotes ultimate shock absorption.
