This trainer throws back to the early days of the early Nike Waffle Trainer. Technology has skyrocketed since then, but Nike still rightfully pays homage to a true classic and a pioneer. The Nike Air Waffle Trainer takes an old school midsole and outsole design and wraps it around an encapsulated air unit for extra cushioning. The upper is primarily black and white with grey and purple panels and purple inner sock liner. The shoe is topped off nicely with yellow accents for a nice, fresh take on a classic.

At the sight of the Nike Air Waffle it is possible that you are reminded of the good old days, because it also has been there in the 80's. Due to the stabilised heel and the heavily profiled sole the Air Waffle trainer is the perfect running shoe. The upper made of leather makes the shoe very noble and the loud yellow contrasts with the dark black, which is very fashionable. The EVA midsole cushions every step, so its very comfortable. A classic with a new face, which persuades with functionality and perfect look!

The retro looking Nike Air Waffle Trainer is a new silhouette for 2011 with Pegasus style cues and an ode to the origins of Nike innovation. We have spotted the kicks in a "Chilling Red" colorway and now we see a coming color combo of the kicks slated for a February distribution. The kicks are built in leather and mesh in white and black set off by lime green.
